Mechanism of Action

Functions identically to other testosterone esters. The cypionate ester is hydrolyzed in vivo to release free testosterone, which binds androgen receptors and promotes anabolic processes including increased protein synthesis, nitrogen retention, and red blood cell production.

Dosing Research

TRT dosing typically 100-200 mg per week via intramuscular or subcutaneous injection. Performance dosing ranges from 250-500 mg per week for most users. Injection frequency is typically once or twice weekly due to its long half-life of approximately 8 days.

Side Effects & Risks

Side effect profile is essentially identical to Testosterone Enanthate. Includes estrogenic effects (gynecomastia, water retention), androgenic effects (acne, male pattern baldness), HPTA suppression, and potential negative impacts on lipid profiles and hematocrit levels.
