Yohimbine
Also known as: Yohimbe, Yohimbine HCl
Yohimbine is an indole alkaloid derived from the bark of the Pausinystalia yohimbe tree. It acts as a selective alpha-2 adrenergic antagonist, promoting fat loss particularly in stubborn fat areas. It is available as a supplement and prescription drug.

Mechanism of Action
Yohimbine blocks alpha-2 adrenergic receptors, which normally inhibit norepinephrine release and lipolysis. By blocking these receptors, yohimbine increases norepinephrine release and allows beta-adrenergic-mediated lipolysis to proceed uninhibited. It is particularly effective in areas with high alpha-2 receptor density (lower abdomen, hips, thighs). Effectiveness is blunted by insulin, so fasted use is recommended.
Dosing Research
Standard dose: 0.2 mg/kg bodyweight per day, split into 2-3 doses. Typical range: 5-20 mg/day. Must be taken in a fasted state for fat loss benefits (insulin negates its effects). Start low (2.5 mg) to assess tolerance. Can be combined with caffeine for synergistic effects.
Side Effects & Risks
Anxiety, nervousness, elevated heart rate, increased blood pressure, sweating, nausea, dizziness. Contraindicated with anxiety disorders and panic attacks. Can interact with MAOIs and other adrenergic compounds. Generally well-tolerated at recommended doses.

Semaglutide
PeptideSemaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist approved for type 2 diabetes (Ozempic) and chronic weight management (Wegovy). Clinical trials demonstrated average weight loss of 15-17% of body weight. It has become one of the most widely discussed medications in modern weight management.
Tirzepatide
PeptideTirzepatide is a dual GLP-1/GIP receptor agonist approved for type 2 diabetes (Mounjaro) and obesity (Zepbound). It has demonstrated unprecedented weight loss efficacy in clinical trials, with participants losing up to 20-25% of body weight. It represents the cutting edge of pharmaceutical weight management.
Finasteride
OtherFinasteride is a selective type II 5-alpha reductase inhibitor approved for male pattern hair loss (1 mg, Propecia) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (5 mg, Proscar). It reduces scalp DHT levels by approximately 60-70% and is one of only two FDA-approved oral medications for androgenetic alopecia. It has decades of clinical data supporting its efficacy.
Tamoxifen
OtherTamoxifen is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) that has been the gold standard for breast cancer treatment and prevention since the 1970s. It is one of the most widely used compounds in post-cycle therapy (PCT) for restoring endogenous testosterone production after anabolic steroid use.
